In order to get the first Blob friend, you must make your way across the first, jump onto the second, and lower yourself to the third (this makes a platform for you to access the L shaped platform). Level 3 - Rocket Science 101 (21800 Gold)īlob 1: Partway through the level is a section where you have to rotate several cogs in order to move a series of platforms. Each is worth 300 if you swallow all parts! Make sure to smash some of the glasses on the way. However, as soon as you get 31,200 points upon eating the cork, you should be fine since there are 6 blue blobs in the pipe. Note: the last part with the laser is incredibly frustrating, so you will need to replay this part a lot. At the end of these vents is your second Blob of the level, a small brown one. Get across by hitting the button to make sure you don't hit the spikes at the top. Reach the top and collect the pink Blob there.īlob 2: Later on in the level, you should see a line of air vents with a set of red spikes above them. At the top of the level is a small passageway which you can reach via first the vent, then by wall jumping. Upon finishing the level via the corked exit, you will pop another achievement!īlob 1: Near the start area of the level, you should see a blue board you need to break in order to collect some items via the air-vent underneath it. To the right of them is a small shelf, and behind that, you will find the second Blob of the level. Each one gives you a handsome 1,000 points onto your total, and each one will be needed for the collection achievement at the end.īlob 1: After the first vent ride, head left a little past the pizza box to collect your first Blob.īlob 2: In the last area before the cork, there are several lamps you can jump onto. Each level also has two Blob friends to collect. ![]() Most levels outside of this one will be much more lenient with their gold medal requirements. Also note that you basically only need to pass the gold score, which is always close to 98%). Unfortunately, it's also one of the few really picky levels where in order to get the gold medal, you must get every single item littered about (this includes breaking the glass jar holding the screws near the beginning of the level by slamming into it, jumping and hitting to slam into it, then collecting the glass shards it leaves behind. It's a basic enough level with a decent amount of items to collect. EDIT: Got my clock numbers backward, thanks to SneezeSomeMilk for pointing it out. With that easy one out of the way, it's onto the first level. Hot tip from EverStoned77: if you fail, the fastest way to retry is to "use the button (aka "Select") to "Splat" yourself & you'll respawn just before launch." Good luck. If you can make it to the top one, you should be fine to get those last three. ![]() There are the beginning three, another one solo just to the left of them, three more at the top left, one straight up, and the last three off to the right. From here, it's just a matter of continuing to run a clockwise circle and catching all of them without slowing down much. ![]() From your starting position, approach the planet so you hit it at about 4:00 and sweep clockwise (left along the bottom), catching the first three as they're fired. The rockets all fire at around the same time, but the first group leaves from about the 5:00 position (imagining the planet as a clock face). I found that the only way to get all of them before they leave the screen was to start at the bottom of the planet and go clockwise. After you leave Earth, several rockets will fire as soon as you return close enough to the planet. This one can be hard if you don't approach it at the right angle.
